Spring is a great time for a cold one, isn’t it? Well, pretty much any time is a great time for a cold one, but something about the warmth of spring makes drinking beer that much more enjoyable. We at Some Good Hops loooove ourselves a nice Spring beer event, and Miami is a great place to be for one of those. Here are a handful of Miami beer events to check out this Spring. 1. Irie Jungle Craft Beer Festival 2023: A Tripping Animals Experience
When: Saturday, April 22, 12-5PM
Where: Tripping Animals Brewing Co., 2685 Northwest 105th Avenue, Doral, FL 33172
The annual Irie Jungle Craft Beer Festival never disappoints. This event, which takes place in Doral’s up-and-coming art district, features over 70 breweries from all around the world, as well as some of Miami’s finest food pop-ups. If beer isn’t your thing (not judging, but kind of judging), you can also enjoy the wine and coffee vendors that will be posted up in this 20,000 sq/ft facility. This event is truly a treat for the senses, as you will also get to enjoy immersive art installations and some music (reggae bands and multiple DJs will be there all afternoon). Tickets are going fast! Make sure to lock up either a general admission ticket, which lasts from 1-5 PM, or a VIP ticket, which lets you in an hour early and comes with some extra goodies to take home.

2. Beat Culture’s 4-Year Anniversary
When: Saturday, April 15th, 12-5PM

Hard to believe it’s been four years since Beat Culture brought their incredible selection of brews into our lives! Swing by this Saturday for some live music, games, a marketplace, a Caja China, and the return of the one and only Iron Bier! Plus, you might just walk out of there with a ticket for free beer…for a YEAR. This event is family and pet-friendly, so bring the whole gang and just enjoy the tastes and sights of one of Miami’s finest breweries.

3. Miami Beer Week – PreGame Rager!
When: Saturday, April 15th, 8PM-1AM
Where: Unbranded Brewing Co., 1395 East 11th Avenue Hialeah, FL 33010
Now THIS is how you start Miami Beer Week! If you’re down for a night of drinking games, dominos, dancing, and, of course, delicious beer, then you might want to head down to Unbranded in Hialeah, who is also releasing their limited-time Kettle Sour Ale treated with cream soda and pineapple: good stuff. This event will feature a toga tying and cheesy pickup line competition, which start at 9 and 10 PM, respectively. So…do what you can to prepare yourself for that. Simply put, if you’re looking for where the party’s at this weekend, it’s at Unbranded!

4. Beer Paired Dinner at Bay 13
When: Tuesday, May 2nd, 7-10PM
Where: Bay 13 Brewery and Kitchen 65 Alhambra Plaza Coral Gables, FL 33134
Every first and third Tuesday of the month gives beer lovers around South Florida an excellent chance to enjoy quality brews/wines and eats and do some networking, all at the beautiful Bay 13 Brewery in Coral Gables. A ticket to this event comes with a four-course meal (two appetizers, a main course, and a dessert), each of which is paired with a craft beer or Australian wine and presented by Bay 13’s Head Brewer and Chef. Come by for a night of indulgence in Coral Gables!

5. Blind Beer Tasting Series by Beat Culture Brewery

This one is for serious beer lovers only. Not really, but you do have to know your stuff if you’re gonna accurately pick out five beer samples while blindfolded. A ticket to this recurring event also includes palate-cleansing snacks, a brewery tour, and 10% off canned beer after you’re done sampling them. Beat Culture always brings their A-game when it comes to Springtime events, and 2023 is no different!
